Check out our short newsletter presented by Partner Gergana Monovska, LL.M. and Senior Associate Galin Atanasoff noting the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 May 2023 on markets in crypto-assets (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation or MiCA), the first legal instrument to introduce a comprehensive regulatory framework of crypto-assets and related services. MiCA was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 09.06.2023 and takes effect today, 29.06.2023.
