Son DG, Laurent Schauder, nous fait part des ambitions de son établissement sophistiqué tout en relativisant les effets de la crise sanitaire liés à la COVID-19 et les espoirs de relance que l’arrivée de la vaccine suscite pour le secteur du tourisme d’affaires et de luxe.

3.Quels sont les responsabilités principales à votre poste de travail ?
As the General Manager of the newly opened Hyatt Regency Sofia, my role is to lead our team in Sofia to become the leading 5 stars hotel in Bulgaria by providing an exceptional experience to our guests, customers and colleagues while operating a profitable business.
4.La crise du Covid-19 - un obstacle ou plutôt une opportunité ?
Obstacle: 2020 has proven to be an unprecedent year for the tourism industry worldwide. The travel restrictions, governmental measures put in place to fight against Covid-19 had and still has a direct impact on our industry. Hotels around the worlds but also in Sofia, had to close or to operate with very low levels of occupancy. Despite our opening in the middle of this difficult period in September, our hotel has positively been able to become very quickly an important player in the market, thanks to the excellent work of our team. Nevertheless, the arrival of the vaccines in 2021 give us confidence that this year will be the beginning of a progressive recovery of our industry.
