Pernod Ricard - Leader in sustainable development efforts
At the UN General Assembly in September 2021, the PERNOD RICARD GROUP was once again recognized as one of the 37 Global Compact LEAD companies for demonstrating ongoing commitment to the UN Global Compact and its Ten Principles for responsible business and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
PERNOD RICARD is the only wine and spirits company awarded this status among other Compact participants representing 18 industry sectors from all over the world. Transforming environmental protection into a corporate value shared by all 19,000 employees, the GROUP invests in introducing and promoting the ‘green’ principles at all stages of production, bottling, packing and distribution of its products – from grain to glass. PERNOD RICARD is also the first company to become a partner of the Agriculture and Land Health Initiative of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
