Wolf Theiss has successfully advised Johnson Controls in a third major investment contract with the Government of Macedonia
Johnson Controls' first investment in Skopje was officially opened for commercial production in December 2007, producing electronic dashboard components. Its second investment was made in Stip in 2011 for the production of car seat covers. This, third investment, in Strumica, will start as an investment into an existing facility with a new factory to be developed in 2017.
Johnson Controls will build, own and operate the facility within the rules of the investment zones (TIDZ), with subsidized lease terms for the land in return for fulfilling investment and employment conditions.
