The conference is part of the #findependent initiative. Through this effort, we shine a spotlight on the importance of financial literacy as a cornerstone of resilience, empowerment, and equality within society.

Special guests and speakers include:

  • Maria Luís Albuquerque, EU Commissioner for Financial Services, Savings, and Investments;
  • Hedwige Nuyens, Chair of European Women on Boards;
  • Iliyana Tsanova, Deputy Director-General and Chief Risk Officer at DG Budget, European Commission;
  • Meital Shamia, Global Director of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Microsoft for Startups;
  • As well as renowned Bulgarian leaders such as Sasha Bezuhanova, Irena Komitova, and Levon Hampartzoumian.
