Third Realto Group International Conference Brings Together Over 750 Business Leaders and Leading Experts
For the third consecutive year, Sofia hosted the largest event dedicated to real estate, business and investment. The Realto Group International Conference 2026 brought together more than 750 professionals, entrepreneurs and investors for an intensive day exploring different perspectives on the future of industries, digitalisation and economic shifts.
The forum was opened by Yordan Angelov, CEO of Realto Group, who welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of shared experience, bold ideas and a commitment to growth in a dynamic environment. Once again, the conference demonstrated Realto Group’s ambition to reach beyond the real estate sector and create a space for dialogue between experts from different industries.
From a Changing World Order to Real Estate Market Decisions
The programme opened with a conversation between Pepi Dimitrova and Georgi Milkov, a journalist, veteran war correspondent in the Middle East and Africa, international affairs analyst and author. Under the title “The World Is Being Reshaped. Who Will Set the Rules?”, they explored today’s turbulent times, the changing international order and the forces shaping relations between countries. The conversation provided a broader context for the discussions on the economy, investment and business, reminding the audience that corporate and investment decisions cannot be viewed in isolation from global developments.
The next panel, “When the Rules Change: What Comes Next for Incomes, Investment and the Real Estate Market?”, turned the discussion towards Bulgaria’s economic outlook. Moderated by Gergana Tenekedzhieva, CEO of ADDRESS, it featured Nikolay Vassilev, Managing Partner at Expat Capital; Strahil Ivanov, CEO of Yavlena; and Filip Popov, Head of Retail Banking at Postbank. Market data and statistics helped illustrate trends in incomes, investment decisions and real estate. The discussion focused on how the new economic environment would affect the market and which factors would shape the next stage of its development.
The market-focused discussions continued with “Building Success: Projects That Work”, a panel dedicated to successful property development models and the intersection of local and European experience. Moderated by Vesela Ilieva, Managing Partner of Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate and New Estates, the panel brought together Dimitar Savov, CEO of BLD; architect Nikolay Simeonov, Managing Partner at VAMOS; Anton Andonov, CEO of ERA Bulgaria; and Nevena Georgieva, Operations Manager at Realto United Agencies.
The speakers shared analyses, trends and examples of projects that stand out in the market, examining the decisions behind their successful delivery. The discussion emphasised strategic planning, an understanding of buyer demand and the ability to create projects with lasting value.
The programme broadened its perspective to international markets and investment opportunities with the panel “The Global Real Estate Map”. Alexandra Dyankova, Manager International Markets and Communications at Unique Estates | Christie’s International Real Estate, led an engaging discussion with Marko Gvozdenović, Founder and CEO of Iron Group / Christie’s International Real Estate Montenegro; Anna Tonova, Senior Consultant at SAVOIR | Unique Estates, Dubai; and Nikolay Tsvetkov, Investment Manager at AG Capital. Together, they outlined key trends across the global and regional real estate landscape, highlighting markets that continue to attract international capital and destinations whose potential is beginning to emerge. The discussion also examined the factors influencing investors’ decisions beyond Bulgaria’s borders.
Success in Action: Personal Effectiveness and Business Transformation
Tihomir Toshev, Managing Partner at CreditCenter, offered an inspiring perspective on the relationship between professional goals and personal life in his keynote, “Surfing, Property and Mortgages: How to Design the Life You Want”. Taking to the stage with his surfboard, he drew on his own experience to underline the importance of discipline, time management and sound financial management. His message was that success is measured not only by professional achievements, but also by the freedom to build the life we want.
The afternoon programme continued with “Business Leaders: Innovation and Digitalisation”, moderated by Sergi Sergiev, CEO of CATWING and Founder of Data Science Society. The panel featured Yancho Dimitrov, Vice President of Technology at Avenga; Kris Ivanov, Co-Founder and CEO of Legal Tech; and Todor Velev, Product Manager at Realto Group. The speakers discussed the role of artificial intelligence, digitalisation and innovation in business transformation. Through demonstrations and AI-generated videos, they illustrated how new technologies are expanding opportunities for companies and laying the foundations for new business models. The conversation explored potential directions for industry development and the challenge of translating technological progress into a tangible competitive advantage.
