Invitation for participation in working meeting: Empowering the Business in the Implementation of the Dual Education in Bulgaria (DOMINO 2 program)
Dear Members and Partners,
The Dual Vocational Education and Training (DVET) was introduced in Bulgaria in 2015. The successful first phase of the DOMINO Project under the Swiss-Bulgarian Cooperation Program (2015-2019) established the crucial foundation for its implementation. Now, we are launching DOMINO 2, an ambitious next phase focused on achieving a self-sustained, nationally integrated VET system driven by business needs.
The DOMINO 2 program is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science and financed under the second Swiss-Bulgarian Cooperation Program. Partners of the program are:
- Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training (SFUVET)
- Chair of Education Systems (CES) at ETH Zürich,
- Centre for specialized vocational education CFPS Le Repuis
- Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC)
On behalf of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce (BSCC), we cordially invite you to a working meeting to be held on
November 24, 2025 in Grand Hotel Millennium, Da Vinci Hall, 14:00 to 18:00.
The working meeting is intended for CEOs and/or HR managers of companies with experience implementing DVET in Bulgaria, as well as companies interested in DVET who are not yet involved.
The goals of the meeting are:
- To introduce the main activities planned under the DOMINO 2 program.
- To discuss the current challenges of implementing dVET in Bulgaria from a business perspective;
- To collect suggestions for improving the dVET system.
Please find attached the program of the event. Working language will be Bulgarian.
The event is free, but places are limited and registration is required.
