Today, we’re taking you behind the curtain of one of our key infrastructure projects at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport – the implementation of the new Baggage Handling System (BHS). ??
The project is progressing at full speed ?, featuring brand-new EDS scanners, sorters, and baggage lines, along with modernized check-in counters.
? The modernization is led by the SOF Connect Project Management team, in partnership with CEMOSA-STROYCONTROL, who recently visited the site to monitor progress.
? The new system is supplied by the globally recognized leader Alstef Group – experts in automated baggage handling and internal logistics.
? With a processing capacity of up to 2,400 bags per hour, the system will ensure safe and efficient management of millions of checked bags every year.
? The total value of the project exceeds 20 million BGN.
