Antika World: Official Opening of Communal and Bohemian Hall — The Beginning of TZUM’s Transformation
On June 23, 2025, a special morning event took place at the Bohemian Hall, part of the newly established multifunctional space Communal in TZUM, marking the official start of the first stage of the transformation of one of the most iconic buildings in the heart of Sofia. Selected guests enjoyed presentations from key brands under the Antika World! project.
The event was hosted by Gergana Stoyanova, PR representative of this ambitious and inspiring project. It marked not only an important milestone for the Antika World team but also a significant step forward for the business environment, the capital, and the country as a whole.
In his opening speech, Ahmed Nasr — founder of Antika World and the main driving force behind the ambitious transformation of TZUM — welcomed guests and shared the vision behind the project.
In the presentations that followed, he introduced Communal — a next-generation coworking and community space created to foster collaboration between businesses from the Middle East and the Balkans.
Additionally, the innovative service Parq was announced — a mobile app for assisted parking designed to improve accessibility to TZUM.
Among the special guests were representatives from key international chambers of commerce and business associations:
- George Kremlis (EPLO European Public Law Organization)
- Jolanda van den Broek (Dutch Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce)
- Savvas Karafilydis (Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry/ BHCCI/)
- Pamela Della Toffola (Camera di Commercio Italiana in Bulgaria)
- Albena Simeonova (Association of Organic Producers in Bulgaria)
- Tsveti Lukarska (Mineral Water Chamber)
Each shared inspiring words about their work, the need for collaboration, and the importance of projects like Antika World in promoting sustainable economic development, culture, and urban revitalization in Bulgaria.
The opening of the Communal Coworking Space and the Bohemian Hall marks the completion of the first phase of the Antika World project.
Far beyond architectural transformation, these spaces introduce a new sense of community, cultural exchange, and entrepreneurial spirit in the heart of Sofia.
As a highlight of the event, several strategic partnership agreements were signed live, reaffirming TZUM’s ambition to become a leading cultural and commercial center.
