Atradius Celebrates 5 Years of Success in Bulgaria with Remarkable Achievements
[Sofia, June 08th 2023] - Atradius, a global leader in credit insurance and risk management solutions, joyfully commemorates 5 years of its presence in Bulgaria, marked by significant accomplishments and growth. The company hosted a special celebration event in Rose Garden of Hyatt Regency Sofia Hotel, expressing gratitude to valued business partners, colleagues, and clients for their support throughout this journey.
The regional director Thomas Langen, the official host of the event, expressed his delight in seeing familiar faces from Atradius' inaugural event in 2018. Langen extended his congratulations to the entire Atradius Bulgaria team, highlighting the pivotal role played by Vladimir VACHKOV and the team in establishing a prosperous business in Bulgaria. He acknowledged that the country's five-year anniversary is a relatively short period, underscoring Atradius' commitment to building long-term relationships based on trust.
Langen presented compelling figures to demonstrate Atradius' strength in Bulgaria. The company commenced operations in 2018 with only 7 policies, and today, the team successfully manages over 110 Bulgarian clients with more than 140 policies. The nationwide market share has surged to over 20%, a testament to the team's outstanding customer service. Langen commended the cohesive teamwork that contributed to Atradius' success and recognized the team's growth, which now comprises eight dedicated colleagues. Expressing his gratitude, Langen acknowledged the indispensable role of clients' trust and cooperation in the company's achievements. He emphasized that without their support, the remarkable success story of Atradius Bulgaria would not have been possible.
Langen also highlighted the global success of Atradius Group in the past 5 years. The demand for credit insurance and the company's expertise has witnessed positive growth worldwide. Atradius Group's total income increased from 1.9 billion Euros in 2018 to 2.45 billion Euros in 2022. Despite significant uncertainties, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Atradius expanded its coverage, insuring transactions worth over €860 billion in 2022 compared to 650 billion Euros in 2018. Amidst uncertain times, Atradius remains dedicated to helping companies grow by shouldering high risks and providing comprehensive coverage. Langen emphasized the expected increase in global corporate insolvencies of almost 40% compared to 2022, reflecting the challenges ahead. He expressed confidence in Atradius' ability to navigate these challenges and continue to deliver profitable business solutions.
