Bulgaria, represented by SOF Connect, is hosting today and On April 24 the 51st meeting of the Technical, Operations & Safety Committee (TOSC) of ACI EUROPE.
“It is an honour for us to host one of the most important ACI EUROPE meeting at a time when Vasil Levski Sofia Airport is preparing for its next major milestone – the construction of Terminal 3. This is a key step in our transformation into the first 5-star regional airport in Europe. The forum provides a valuable opportunity to exchange expertise and discuss the innovations that will shape the future of airport operations and safety.”, said Jesus Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect.
Over the two-day programme in Sofia, more than 100 leading experts and representatives of the European airport industry are coming together to discuss key topics such as digitalisation and cybersecurity, the implementation of artificial intelligence in aviation, operational resilience and change management, as well as collaboration between airports, institutions and service providers.
The programme also includes a dedicated session hosted by SOF Connect, presenting the development of Vasil Levski Sofia Airport, the progress of key infrastructure projects – including the preparation for Terminal 3 – as well as the airport’s vision for sustainable development, digital transformation and enhanced passenger experience, in line with its strategy to become a 5-star regional hub.
