Current issues in excise treatment and customs taxation of goods | 28 November
Dear partners,
Deloitte Bulgaria is pleased to invite you to participate in the next edition of the tax seminar "Current issues in excise treatment and customs taxation of goods" which will again focus on the practical aspects in these areas. The event will take place on 28 November 2022 from 14:30 to 17:30 in a hybrid format.
The seminar will be held in two parts. In the first part, we will discuss a series of topical issues in customs and excise such as:
- How will the carbon content of goods affect the payment of customs duties and why almost 80% of European businesses will be obliged to apply from 2023 regulatory measures in this regard?
- What are the measures and ways to reduce/eliminate import duties?
- Export control and why more and more companies are not aware that they are affected by it, and the consequences are serious?
- Which companies are required to register as certified consignors/consignees and under what conditions?
- Challenges for photovoltaic plants and excise-exempt end users
The second part will present real cases, examined through the prism of Bulgarian and European case law. The focus will be on an analysis of the court's arguments and a discussion of how these arguments can be applied in practice.
Topics that you feel are important to you may also be discussed during the seminar, so we welcome you to send us your questions in advance.
Working language: Bulgarian
Participation fee: 100 Euro. For two or more participants from one company, a 10% discount on the fee of each participant is provided (prices are without VAT).
