Grand Hotel Sofia celebrated its 20th birthday
The iconic Grand Hotel Sofia celebrated its 20th anniversary on Thursday, June 20, 2024. with a spectacular party titled "Two decades of elegance, one Grand Experience'' .
The event in the garden of the five-star hotel brought together Sofia's business elite, representatives of the institutions of the Republic of Bulgaria, ambassadors and delegates from the diplomatic missions in Sofia, popular stars from the public scene and friends of the hotel. Especially for the occasion, the summer garden of Grand Hotel Sofia was completely transformed to intertwine history, art and modernism in the very heart of the capital. A red carpet, crystal chandeliers, entertainers, a big band, a culinary tour through the history of the hotel and a DJ party were part of the surprises for the guests. Over 400 partners, guests and friends of the hotel took part in the glamorous evening. Together with the hotel team, they celebrated the history of Grand Hotel Sofia that they have been creating together for 20 years and will continue to build the timeless elegance of the most successful Bulgarian brand among the five-star hotels in the capital.
Chef Tanya Pravchanova had created a time machine with a menu inspired by the culinary traditions of the hotel. Over the past 20 years, Grand Hotel Sofia has proven itself as an innovator on the capital's gastronomic scene with its avant-garde offerings. The concept of the event was based off that and every bite told its own story. The dishes were selected from the various offers that Grand Hotel Sofia has offered to its guests over the past two decades. Dishes that have welcomed international political leaders, world film and theater stars, sports stars, music idols, business representatives and every visitor to the Shades of Red Restaurant and Grand Café.
The evening took place in three stages, accompanied by classical, jazz and modern music. The good mood of the guests was taken care of by Big Band Blagoevgrad with conductor Boris Yanev, dancers, artists-performers and DJ ADDO.
Guests were treated to signature cocktails specially created for the occasion, Italian wines and prosecco.
