SOF Connect launches a tender for the development and operation of a new Airport Hotel & Conference Center at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport
As part of its vision to transform Vasil Levski Sofia Airport into a modern, competitive and five-star regional airport, SOF Connect is launching a tender for the selection of an experienced Airport Hotel and Conference Center Operator.
SOF Connect is inviting well-established hotel developers and operators, as well as internationally recognised hotel brands, with proven experience in developing and operating best-in-class hotels, conference and event facilities, and similar premium venues.
The new Airport Hotel will be developed in close proximity to the future Terminal 3, while the Conference & Event Center will be located within Terminal 2. The development is envisioned to include 150+ hotel rooms, a recognised 3–4-star hotel brand, and a Conference & Event Center with capacity for 260+ guests, offering stunning views of the airport runway.
The selected operator will be responsible for the design, development, construction, financing, commissioning and long-term operation of both facilities.
The project represents a unique opportunity to establish a new benchmark for hospitality, conference and event services at Bulgaria’s main international airport and to deliver an exceptional experience for passengers, business travellers and the wider airport community.
The contract term will extend until the end of the Sofia Airport concession in April 2056.
